Mission
The mission of the Beaver County Humane Society is to protect all domestic animals by providing shelter and care; adoption services; investigation, correction or prosecution of cruelty or abuse situations; education programs; and promotion of the concepts of kindness and respect for all living creatures throughout Beaver County
The shelter will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2008 ... Wednesday and Thursday December 24 and 25, 2008 ... and Thursday, January 1, 2009.

Next to the Beaver Valley Mall in Monaca. Enter from Route 18 on the side entrance to the mall. The shelter entrance is on the left at the top of the hill.

Job duties include cleaning and sanitizing all animal runs, cages and furnishings; feeding animals. Applicants must be willing and able to follow supervisor's directives closely and carefully. Other duties include assisting the public with meeting animals for adoption and cleaning common areas of the shelter. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor.
